Awful situation, and it's one of those things that's a consequence of the complete lack of accountability in our society. The former president tried to overthrow the government and nobody seems to really care. What all this tells me is that the tactics we've used in the past to fight injustice simply aren't working. We can't sit back and hope that decency will prevail. We have to work for it. We can't passively endure injustice when we see it. We have to oppose it. Thanks for writing.
