Because you’re a more effective writer when you encourage your readers to make connections on their own. It’s not enough to stand around screaming on a street corner. You have to write in an way that actually empowers people to think for themselves.

If you don’t agree, I don’t have any problem with that. However, I do have a problem with any assertion that I’m not sincere in my objectives. I get enough death threats and insults that I’m sure my opponents believe in my sincerity. I have no energy left over to field attacks from people who should be allies.
