But that’s not what’s going on in America today. We aren’t acknowledging the flaws. In fact, we’re expressly stopping anyone from discussing American racism. Calling one group “the greatest generation” is yet another prong in a multi-pronged strategy for covering up the crimes of American racism.

Racists uses “sacred concepts” to radicalize people. These are things that are beyond question like nationalism and religion. When people refuse to be honest about a generation that’s considered sacred, it clouds our ability to have an objective impression of history. I think the “mature” perspective is the one that recognizes this.

Also, you mentioned that you didn’t believe that the Nuremberg race laws were based on Jim Crow laws. The book I referenced is titled “Hitler’s American Model” and it mentions how the leading Nazi generals at the Nuremberg meetings specifically mentioned American racism.
