Empathy is important but only after it's been established that everyone in our country knows that racism is real and that it's evil. There has to be a way back for racists, but too often we skip that part and go right to perceiving aggressors as victims. I see what you're saying, but it's shameful how often good ideas are twisted in order to perpetuate more evil. Thanks for the comment!
