Exceptional writing! There are some absolutely terrific lines in here. Relationships are difficult, but they're made nearly impossible in the US by all the insane cultural programming. I lived in Peru from 2001 to 2009 and it changed my perspective on everything. Thanks for writing this, people need to hear it!
