I agree. Our society has to change it's attitude toward Christian private schools. They became popular in 1964 after public schools were desegregated. It's not about "morality" it's about racism.

Also, I appreciate your choice not to use the word in "smear the ..." I used the bad words in my essay and I've been wondering if I shouldn't have. Then again. Those words rang out when I was growing up and they were jarring, so I think people should have to read them. I wouldn't ever use the N word though... so I can't tell if I'm making the wrong choice on this matter. I'm still thinking about it.

Thanks for writing. Telling kids they're going to burn in Hell is child abuse in my opinion.
