I agree that’s true, however, it also illustrates the danger of our current situation. If we’re already voluntarily silencing ourselves out of fear of these people, what’s the next step? What’s going to happen when they return to power? Soon it won’t matter if we say anything. They’ll come after us with violence just in response to how we look. Perhaps the best way to do this is to write letters to the local paper. The media has to be filled with this message, but yes, do it safely.
