I agree with you, which is why I try to moderate the comments sections of my articles so that my readers don't have to read asinine comments. However, it could be the case that even when I try to remove or delete a comment, it remains posted for other users to see? I'd assumed that I had the power to moderate, but perhaps I was wrong to think that.

To be fair, the vast majority of the comments I get are very impressive and help me refine my ideas. That being said, I totally get what you're saying. Thanks for the comment!
