I despise the dentist and I've been fortunate that I've never had any issues with my teeth. No cavities, no braces, no wisdom teeth, nothing. Nevertheless, they want to hit me with 50 head x-rays and they get mad if I ask them to look for an issue first. The last time I went into the dentist (a new one), first the dentist insisted I had a filling, then she said a tooth had a "deformity" that they could fill, but it was up to me. So, I elected not to fill it, and I got the cold shoulder from the whole staff. WTF? If they tell me it's optional, how can they justify turning around and getting mad when I make a choice. Thanks for writing this!
