I got in an argument yesterday on Twitter with a guy who started lecturing me when I said religion was a philosophy of oppression. He used all the expected arguments, said I was ignorant, said I was stupid, etc. I just found it amazing how, in many people's minds, you aren't even allowed to DISCUSS that religion oppresses. They take even the suggestion of the idea as grounds for an attack. It really is a sick philosophy and they're coming after us, you're right.
