I grew up in a rural town in Northern Wisconsin. There was corruption all the way to the top. Imagine getting your education in a school where all the teachers and students were Trump supporters and the principal was Trump himself. I think other teachers and administrators were indifferent. This was back in the 80s, I hope things are better now.

You've given me more ideas to write about. I think a lot of people are ignorant of the deplorable situations that exist in rural school districts. There were 3 student suicides while I was there.

Filing a report for bullying never even crossed my mind. I don't know if that recourse was even available.
