I hadn't thought of it in terms of an ability to hypnotize people, but there's something to that. The weird father worship of some of his followers is in effect. Come to think of it, most of the men I knew who support Trump had weird idol worship relationships with their own fathers. Hmmm... I'll have to think more on that. Thanks for the thoughtful comment.
