I have to say that I'm very impressed with your response. Most of the time people double down on their comments, so it's refreshing to engage with somebody who is willing to have a productive conversation. You wouldn't believe some of the comments I get, so sometimes I come out swinging. I've adopted the habit of arguing for myself and for third party readers because I assume nobody I interact with directly will ever change their opinion. The fact that you considered what I had to say is almost unprecedented and it's given me something to think about.
