I haven't taught in a while and sometimes I miss it. I always tried to present the class as a group effort (rather than establish myself as an authority). The students loved it but I encountered lots of resistance from administrators. I try to use the same philosophy in my writing. Thoughtful comments like yours teach me a lot. Thanks.
