I identify a lot with your post. I earned a minor in Physics when I was in college. When I was teaching in public schools in Peru, the kids were wonderful. In the private schools, where there was a bit of money, is where I ran into problems. It's the same the world over I guess. People who have been through hardship blossom into wonderful souls. At the same time, I think it's possible to cultivate wonderful people. We can work for a better world, and we are making progress I think... one little bit at a time. Thanks for the kind words!
