I just did a story on January 6th on another platform. Immediately I received my typical 50 comments denying it was an act of treason. It can be exhausting sometimes coming up against all the hatred that's routine in this country. I've done multiple articles on the Confederate flag too... again, hundreds of people chirp in to defiantly defend it. I'm glad you got your marriage license without trouble. I was married abroad so I didn't have to go through the US system. Perhaps the worst part is that the organizers of the January 6th attack still haven't been held accountable. Many of them are currently involved in obstructing any effort to elect a Speaker of the House.
