I lived in Peru for 10 years and their mandatory voting system worked very well. I agree that all the other things you mentioned should be implemented first. However, I’m not convinced about the counter-arguments. Those just seem like obstacles we should overcome, not reasons we shouldn’t have mandatory voting. Thanks for the comment.
