I see that you're making an informed and reasonable argument that is without malice. However, I still disagree. There are limitations on free speech. You cannot yell "fire" in a crowded building for example. Nobody has a right to incite violence against law abiding citizens. Using the pulpit to spread hatred of homosexuals is bullying, abusive, and evil. Our legal system needs to catch up with common sense, but in the meantime we the people have a 1st amendment right to call out the church's behavior for what it is. Again, it is not my intention to "scold" you with this reply, I think the argument you posed was reasonable and necessary and I thank you for the opportunity to reply.
