I think it would be a decent movie to have on in the background while you're playing poker and drinking beer with your buddies. It doesn't warrant your complete attention, but there are some parts about it that are inadvertently entertaining (there's a place for movies like that).

I watched the DiCaprio one again not so long ago and it was better than I remembered. Still, there is no brilliant version of this story and there should be.
