I think it's important that we speak openly and honestly about the role Christianity played in the development of race based slavery. I've gone through it in a couple of articles, but the crimes of Christianity are truly deplorable.

I wrote an article recently about how we have to recognize that even the words of Jesus are flawed. The essence of that argument is that anyone without sin wouldn't have wanted to cast a stone anyway, and Jesus should have known that.

I've been having some productive discussions with people about this recently. I'm finding that we have to go after these "sacred" concepts that people have been conditioned not to question. It's surprising how much truth you can find (or at least things that make sense). Thanks for the thoughtful, as always, comment!
