I think people are frustrated because they recognize the same tactics for social conditioning are at play to make people watch films as they are to stop healcare reform or enact reasonable gun control. It's we'rd when you're not allowed to say "I dislike 'the Last Jedi'" without being called an alt-right misogynist. My frustrations are with the corporations that launch unfair attacks against anyone who doesn't like their product. We live in strange times.
