I think teachers have their hands tied. The white supremacists constantly threaten teachers. It's no accident that this assault happened in a Spanish class. Just the fact that teachers are allowed to teach Spanish is becoming a point of contention in the USA. You're right about the line that more people will spit in the faces of their coworkers than in the face of their boss. We need to change our culture from the bottom up.
