I think that's a very good take. I wrote this article several months ago and I'm still struggling with the concept. Yesterday, I watched an episode of The Flintstones with my wife and I was astounded at how misogynistic it was. Maybe, as you say, education will solve this in a way that's productive. A more enlightened society won't tolerate the harmful elements of these stories.
