I think we have to strike a balance and that's tough. I take my daughter in to practice her shots, but I have to be mindful not to push her too hard. If you never take them in, you're not doing right by them, and if you take them in too much you're also wrong. The best of us at least try to do right, but it's a moving target. All we can do is apologize and try to do better. When you look at the complexity of life, there is no excuse for not making an apology because everyone is always wrong.
