I think we need to take a hard look at the balance sheet. Christianity has been on the wrong side of history far too often for my liking. There's nothing inappropriate about an honest discussion as to whether it's doing more harm than good. I mean in the face of criticism, rather than go and help the poor (Christ's message), the impulse is to defend Christianity. That, to me, already represents a failure.
