I think we need to talk about them. Religion has managed to build walls up around itself as if it is beyond reproach. Those walls need to come down, and the charlatans need to be exposed.

Also, there remains a huge problem with church leaders that protect and enable pedophiles. That alone is a pretty solid reason for closing down every church in my opinion.

I guess most of the problems would naturally go away if we just held the church accountable as if they were any other business. They shouldn't be able to discriminate against women (not allowing them to be ordained), and they should be allowed to discriminate against the LGBTQ community.

We have laws, the church should have to obey them.
