I used to try very hard too, but Trump's "white power" tweet ended it for me. It drew white supremacists out of the woodwork and I noticed increased aggressions against my wife and kids. Friends and relatives who ignored me when I told them this happened are gone from my life now, and I'm a lot happier honestly.
