I was referring to the fact that there is a mechanism for limiting free speech. The only way we currently limit it is by telling people they can't make threats against politicians. However, it's a matter of choice what level of accountability we want in our society. We could decide, for example, that if a person tells people to take horse medicine to fight COVID, the person who shared the advice is liable for the resultant death. This would require new legislation, but I think we need to be having these conversations in the era of social media.

By the way, it saddens me that you have to write a disclaimer at the bottom of your comments. I don't think that disclaimer is going to provide you with any legal protection should your employer object to your comments.
