I wonder if the GOP will modify their tactics and overtly deny reproductive healthcare to black women, while allowing it for white women (this is pretty much the case anyway since nobody who is rich is going to have a problem getting any treatment they want). I wonder how far away we are from a return to race based laws? There was already some chatter about striking down the right to inter racial marriage. The GOP hasn't been doing as well as they've wanted in the last few elections (although they're still doing well enough to block any real social reform). If they restored reproductive healthcare rights to white women they'd probably have a path to the power they need to inflict blatant fascism upon us all (which seems to be their objective). Passive white women who are indifferent to the suffering of their only potential allies could allow this to happen.
I will say one more thing, the slave narrative Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl has some moments where the sorority of womanhood takes precedence over social hierarchy. I wonder if another 100 years of white supremacist conditioning has managed to quash that impulse... but at least there is some historical evidence that impulse once existed.
