I'm 46 and I've found that much of my life was spent resisting the gravitational pull of teaching (without success at times). I could have made a lot more money in my life if I'd succumbed, but I'd rather sleep on a flea infested mattress than tolerate some sorts of treatment. I'm glad Substack is working out for you, you deserve to teach on your own terms!
