I'm not sure if that's true. I don't think you can learn from people who spew hatred or ignorant beliefs. Not directly anyway, you can observe them and see how the path they're on leads to misery. I was on social media the other day and it saddened me how hate is so prevalent. I will limit my time spent there. To some extent, I do agree with your statement. But at the same time, people who are indifferent and dismissive to all the suffering in the world represent a perspective that doesn't interest me. Thanks for the thoughtful comment.
