In my 20s I spent as much energy as I could spare trying to communicate with him. He'd have a response to this that would be some sort of traumatic and devastating counter-argument. If I were to wish for something it would be that he would take some accountability for his mistakes. I think the tragedy is a lot of people never figure out how to grow beyond the mindset they grew up with. I try to remember that when I have disagreements with people, but I still am prone to losing my patience. Thanks for your nice comment!
