It made me angry at the time, but what he said was true for most of the kids. Talk about taking the wind out of your sails though. Like, why had I worked so hard in high school only to have the guidance counselor tell me at the end that it wouldn't be enough. He should have said so at the beginning (though I wouldn't have listened then either).
