It was just a term I used. I didn’t mean it as if the writers were elite, I meant they were writers from an elite social class. Yes, privileged writers would be a good term too, but that term would have changed how readers approached the essay. If the discussion continues, a term will emerge, but for the most part writers don’t like to talk about this.
