It's important to emphasize that there's a difference between rape and heterosexual or homosexual relationships. Male Catholic priests who rape boys are often mislabeled as "homosexuals" when they are in fact pedophiles. It's inappropriate to misrepresent homosexual or heterosexual communities by using the label in situations of abuse. A distinction has to be made otherwise the language can be used as an unjust and unfounded attack on the innocent LGBTQ community.
