It’s important to remember that you’re helping the author more than you’re helping Amazon. Obviously, you’re under no obligation to write a review. A review doesn’t need to be more than, “I thought this was a thought provoking and entertaining book,” or “not for me.” There are so many forces that suppress voices in the world that I feel it’s very valuable to do the little I can to help out.
