I've been thinking about it a lot lately. It drives me nuts that professional athletes make 50 or 60 million a year, but then taxpayers have to fund the stadiums where they play. I think it's all a massive distraction. People are hysterical about grade school and high school sports because they're hopeless about the prospects of succeeding in life in any other way.
