I've felt a lot of pressure to use Grammarly, from a variety of platforms (not just Medium). I, too, resist it. There used to be a thing called grammar check on word processing programs that made it impossible to write. They'd underline all your grammar issues in green and the spelling issues in red. I'd fix the spelling mistakes but leave the others. It's weird how you get skeptical looks when you say, "I have a degree in English so I don't feel I need Grammarly." They want Skynet to write our literature I guess.
