I've never understood how religious groups could be so fixated on healthy, consensual, homosexual relationships and then completely disregard the sexual assaults on children that are commonplace in the church. I think it's a major deflection. Every time I discuss homosexuality with a religious person I turn the conversation to the predatory behavior of churches and tell them to get their own house in order before they start "casting stones."
