Not really, the political right is not at all interested in an honest, intellectual discussion. They denounce concepts they know nothing about. They act like they're experts even when they haven't so much as cracked open a book. It's really important to recognize the sorry state of the opinions that actually influence people. There are people speaking today who haven't earned the right to be heard, and they do it at the expense of those that have.
