So many people flip out when you say we all harbor racist tendancies. I always compare it to saying "everyone is a sinner." I ask people, "why are you furious when I say 'everyone's a racist' but you're fine with 'everyone's a sinner'?" They sputter for a while, but they never produce a valid answer. Very good article. It's amazing how people can live their whole lives in one of the stages.
