So much of the language of social control has crept into the writing community. The idea that we shouldn't care about money is ridiculous. Maybe we could call it "trickle down economics for creatives." It doesn't work, just pay us. Yeah, $1 per word would be amazing! I'd be doing 10,000 words a day... good words!
