Some Democrats are progressive, but there are also moderate and conservative Democrats. In fact, the DNC establishment is very much conservative. The politics of the US is mostly conservative. It gets confusing because it's misrepresented in the media. The media loves to blame progressives for everything even though there are relatively few progressives in positions of power.
