Thank you. I almost lost this article when my computer spontaneously rebooted on me, fortunately I'd saved it and only lost about 3/4ths of a page (that I was able to reproduce).

I'm tired of the faith community thinking it should get an exemption from criticism. I posted on Facebook the other day that faith too often is camoflauge for hate. Somebody offered me a gentle rebuke because that's what faith people always do. It was a #notallmen kind of comment. I told them that I deserved to have my experience as a victim of abuse by faith groups taken seriously. I haven't logged back in to see if there was any reply though.
