Thank you for sharing. Comments like yours give me a much better perception of reality. One guy wrote "we didn't have abductions in the 60s," but I reminded him that they used to call them "runaways." Society preferred to blame "ungrateful kids" for "running away" rather than recognize they'd been murdered by predators. The lies we tell ourselves are terrifying.
