So much of our society is designed to create socioeconomic hardship so that people can be exploited.

I often write on issues that are outside of my personal experience and I'm always concerned that I will inadvertently make things worse or say something horrible. I try to be responsible and step lightly, but I appreciate it when more informed individuals comment on my work and help me grow my understanding.

Even though I have a little bit of an influence on a few different platforms, I find my work is often buried when I write about important topics like this. There are so many exploitation mechanisms in place, and they're all protected by the media.
