Thank you Mary! I've had similar experiences. I now block people who tell me "change has to happen slowly." It doesn't. I'm finding that you put people off balance when you insist there is nothing liberal about the United States and that conservatives must therefore own all the problems. As of yet, they don't know how to respond... but they will have an argument shortly (that's the only indication that somebody is listening).
