Thanks Allison. The Civil War argument is easy to win because the actual secession letters specifically mention slavery (hard to do it in grade school against a racist with authority though). I look back on my experience in that community with horror. Something pushed me to take a different path, but it would have been easy to just coast along. I look around me and see so many people who are doing exactly that.
