Thanks for the comment, but this isn't an article about Christianity. It's an article of why we should respect non believers and mention them along with showing respect for religious beliefs in public. Part of the problem in the US is that religious groups tend to wage war on public schools. For example, after segregation, Catholic private schools started popping up because of racism. To this day, Catholic private schools are largely segregated, and voucher programs mean that public schools which serve poor families are largely underfunded. I'd like to see more people who identify as religious speaking out against this abhorrent and racist practice. Thanks again!
