Thanks Justin. The more I look into this, the more I realize the true horrors of slavery. Some of the comments I’ve received on this article are insane. It’s a mistake that we don’t have a more responsible approach to teaching slavery. Our society often talks about reparations for the victims, but what about punishment for the oppressors?
